The Clements High School Stars Dance Team was established in the 1983-1984 school year. The original varsity team consisted of 22 members. The founding Director was Sue Geick (1983 - 1984). Following was Cindi Cornelius (1984 - 1997), followed by Kristine Gravell Copeland (1997 - 2009) and then Chelsea Harrison Waite (2009 - 2011). Currently, the Director is Michelle Barth (Assistant 2009 - 2011, Head 2011 - present day) and the Assistant Director position is currently held by Alina Mitchell (2019 - present day). 

 

In the 2012-2013 school year, Clements Dance Dept. founded a JV team – The Twinkles, as a feeder team for the Stars. The original junior varsity team consisted of 19 members. The founding Director was Michelle Barth.
